MLM Presentation- How to Give a Great MLM Presentation
How to Give a Great MLM Presentation- What should i present first, the MLM Product or the Business Opportunity?
When you present what is interesting to the prospect, you are PROVING that you are interested in the prospect. When you are presenting one on one, you would only present things that are relevant to that person.
Why A Global Overview is important to an MLM Presentation
Before you begin your MLM presentation, the first thing you should do is to give a global overview of what it is that you are going to present.
The global overview acts as an orientation for the prospect, it tells the prospect where they are in relation to what they are about to hear.
A phrase like “Tonight we are going to be talking about ________________” is a good start in giving people an orientation about what you are going to be talking about.
It is very important that your global statement is something that the prospect wants to learn about. This is how you incorporate your prospects needs, wants into your MLM presentation.
So for example if i would have gotten my prospects needs wants of “i need to make more money so i can pay off some debts”
I can easily intertwine that into my global overview by saying “What i’m going to be discussing with you is how you can make more money so you can pay off your debt.”
What you need to understand is finding out what the prospects wants and connect that with your global overview. I hope you see how the qualify step above is connected to the content of what you present… it is very IMPORTANT.
Sometimes you might be presenting to a prospect that has no idea about your MLM business and you have to educate them enough on the topic so they can determine what part of your business they’re interested in.
This is called “Testing a Topic.”
After giving the prospect an overview of your business or product, then you can test a topic in form of a question and see if they have an interest in it, if not DO NOT discuss it any further.
As a example, after discussing a product, you can ask…”do the profits you can make selling this product have any interest to you”
If they reply “not really” then don’t discuss the compensation plan with them no matter how well you know it or how much you love it.
The key in making mlm presentation is knowing what is relevant to the prospect and talking about things relating to want he/she wants.
This is why i always add an application form in all my ads to enable me collect useful data and talk to my prospects according to what they entered in their application… very IMPORTANT.
If you do not have the resource to do this then spend 30 seconds – a minute talking about a general overview of your business and product and how it is taking advantage of the trends and then ask him/her “ ”do the profits you can make selling this product have any interest to you.”
If they say “NO” then maybe they just want to become a customer or maybe just want to try the products themselves first and may join later when they see how good your product is.
Whatever the case may be, make sure you are talking and basing your mlm presentation upon that which the prospects wants and needs to hear more of.
The true art of MLM presentation lies in your ability to take that which is relevant to the prospect, and show how they can achieve that through what your company or product offers.
